Letter to the editor in New Hampshire makes the case against greyhound racing

A letter to the editor posted today (Nov. 4) on NashuaTelegraph.com was submitted in response to a previous letter from someone who misses dog racing in New Hampshire.

Carole Ann Thorp rightfully sets the other writer straight on the “reality of dog racing.”

Among the other horrors of greyhound racing, she notes – “” Many greyhounds are adopted each year, but thousands more of these beautiful, gracious dogs are destroyed because they’re too slow and are no longer money makers. They are expendable commodities to some people. “”
