Wet dog shake – the physics behind the habit

Studies are being conducted on the physics involved in a dog’s ability to shake water off its body. You think it’s just annoying when you’re nearby that wet dog, but there is more to it than meets the splattered eyes.

Discover News recently looked into the research and found that incredibly enough, the studies could lead to better washing machines and dryers.
