MPR News out of Minnesota reports the woman who was recently charged with animal cruetly for allegedly enclosing a puppy in a box and mailing it, now wants the little dog back.
I would say that old rule that says anything you receive in the mail, you get to keep should apply (if that’s really a law). So the postal employees should get first dibs. And I’d say that trying to mail a dog means you don’t want the dog – and you don’t want it so bad that you’re willing to do something really dumb to get rid of it. So that means you forfeit your guardianship of the dog.
A hearing will be held Friday or Monday that could result in a ruling on whether or not the puppy will be returned to her.
It seems a lot of people are already stepping forward wanting to adopt the dog.
