Cats can just have a bad day – as is evident in this story

I didn’t quite know what to make of this story and as I began to read it, I feared it might have a sad or troubling ending. It doesn’t. This story which ran on the Log Cabin Democrat (Conway, Ark.) website is simply about a crazy cat who was pissed at some unknown problem in its life.

A homeowner called 911 because a cat was trying to break into her home – a feline described as acting “crazy.”

To the responding officer’s credit, he did not over react and instead he backed away as the cat showed aggression and only used his baton once to defend himself when the cat went on the attack.

The cat was eventually tested by a local animal control office and was found to be free of any disease, including rabies. It is believed that the cat was just angry. Hey, we all have our bad days – right?

  2. As I read the story, the cat was trying to break into a specific house, so it must have been angry at someone inside. It would be interesting to find out what made it mad. Did the person in question possibly write a letter to the editor of post a comment that the cat saw and took issue with? Or maybe the cat found out the person wasn’t kind to animals.
